What is LDM® – Local Dynamic Micromassage?

LDM® (Local Dynamic Micromassage) is an innovative ultrasound technology that fundamentally differs from conventional ultrasound treatments. By rapidly alternating between two ultrasound frequencies – in our case 3 MHz and 10 MHz – powerful, dynamic pressure pulses are generated within the tissue. These create a highly effective micromassage in both the deeper and superficial layers of the skin, without causing any damage or irritation.

Unlike traditional ultrasound devices that operate with a single fixed frequency, LDM® utilizes the benefits of both:

• 3 MHz penetrates into the mid-layers of the skin and stimulates deeper connective tissue structures.

• 10 MHz works very superficially – ideal for inflamed or sensitive skin, as the energy is targeted precisely within the dermis and epidermis.

This frequency modulation leads to several key effects:

• Fibroblasts are activated, which are responsible for the production of collagen and elastin,

• Inflammatory processes are reduced, which is especially beneficial for acne-prone and irritated skin,

• The skin matrix (extracellular matrix) is restructured and rehydrated by improving the distribution of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs),

• And the skin's permeability is enhanced, allowing highly active ingredients – such as exosomes or hyaluronic acid – to be absorbed more deeply and effectively.
